About the Artist

Alison Taylor is based in California where she was born and raised. Her love of animation, comics, and video games influenced her art style and the stories she tells. The artist utilizes programs which include various Adobe products, Krita, Blender, and various Adobe products to craft comics, and animation. Stories that go hand in hand with the vibrant, yet contrasting colors and the simple, yet meticulously detailed style.

The artist studied Animation at Diablo Valley College. She later transferred over to San Jose State University to gain a BA in Studio Practice, more specifically in skills in Digital Media.

The elements combined together to make an experience that is a unique with both the story and the character depiction. The passion the artist has for the art she creates can be felt in every one of her creations. This can be seen in many projects, including her senior project. Which is a printed spiral bound comic. While not long, six pages plus cover, it gets her unique humor across while also initiating that there something bubbling underneath the surface.
